Similar to telltales fitted to genoa luffs the Main-Tales should be fitted at intervals along the leech of the mainsail so that you can accurately trim the mainsail when sailing upwind or on a reach.

8 x Ripstop nylon strips
Directions for use:
Remove the backing paper and apply the self-adhesive disc to a clean and dry surface, covering one end of the wool thread (TELL TALES) or nylon strip (MAIN TALES) and press firmly to ensure a good bond. Position TELL TALES higher on Starboard side than the port, approximately 15-30cm back from the luff Position MAIN TALES at equal distance running up the leech of the main sail. Cut the thread or strip to the required length. Fix so that they fly horizontally.
